• Schedule and Shift Details: 1728 clinical hours per year, 12x12 hour shifts per month (11am-11pm), 30-35 patients per day, No Call Physician on every shift

The Role:

Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an Urgent Care position in Socorro, NM. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing and a minimum of two years' experience in an ER setting. This role involves performing patient care, ordering/interpreting diagnostics, and providing treatment for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform entire patient care continuum of urgent care and acute patients in the Emergency Department

• Utilize available physician resources appropriately

• Demonstrate high confidence in treating patients

• Available for Primary Patient Care for patients of all ages

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher

• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification/license

• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) in New Mexico (NM)

  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in New Mexico (NM)
