About:

  • Location: Santa Clara, CA

  • Contract: 6 months

The Role:

  • Manage requirements and design of key components of the APG CIM solution to meet customer implementation needs at R&D labs and manufacturing sites.

  • Collaborate with engineering heads to optimize and make key decisions regarding CIM architecture.

  • Understand core functionality and its location within the system.

  • Identify customer pain points and provide clear options and solutions.

  • Assess technology and software security risks.

  • Ensure all phases of a project, program, and/or process development are documented, and that necessary information is reported, disseminated, or transferred as appropriate team, ensuring each release of the CIM is fully integrated.

  • Semiconductor MES, Equipment Automation, Dispatching, Scheduling, Fault Decision, R2R Control, SPC and material handling, and other key factory software.

  • Software Product Development Life Cycle and Implementation.

  • Software Fundamentals (Design, CIP, Troubleshooting)

  • Good understanding of modern data architecture.

  • Software Tools – Atlassian tools stack (Jira, bitbucket, confluence).

  • Agile Development Methodology.

  • Java development including Web user interfaces.

  • Demonstrates strong business acumen.

  • Communicates effectively at all organizational levels.

  • Applies industry knowledge to contribute to achieving objectives.

  • Proven experience in mentoring and leading technical teams.

  • Provide clear direction to teams.

  • Be intimately involved in the design and implementation process for all features to ensure consistent and high-quality outcomes.

  • Demonstrates strong decision-making skills and the ability to provide strategic direction.

  • Possesses excellent problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of resolving complex issues.

  • Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

  • Explains difficult or sensitive information.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience required.

  • Fault Detection & Classification (FDC)

  • Run-to-Run (R2R) Control

  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)

  • Material Handling Systems

  • Java Development (including Web UI development)

  • Software Design & Troubleshooting

  • Modern Data Architecture

  • Software Security & Risk Assessment
